Thanks to AI Food Detection and Recognition, LogMeal API can estimate the food waste or leftovers of a registered intake. This means we can get the real information of what the user has eaten and what has been wasted by taking a picture before and after the meal.

The available LogMeal API endpoints for accessing to this service are:

• POST /waste/detection/intake/{model_version} 🔴 Food Waste Intake Estimation. Detects the leftovers or remaining food on a dish/intake. Optionally uses a sequence of RGB images for volume estimation.
• POST /waste/detection/intake_depth/{model_version} 🔴 Food Waste Intake Estimation. Detects the leftovers or remaining food on a dish/intake. Optionally uses a RGB and Depth images for volume estimation.
• POST /waste/confirm/{model_version} 🔴 Confirm dishes and quantities after applying food waste intake detection.
