Nutri-Score is a simplified front-of-pack labeling model that graphically displays its nutritional quality. Although the original definition of this score is intended for packaged products, we have adapted it to make it useful for prepared dishes.

The classification obtained by a food is the result of a calculation based on the content of nutrients and components that are reflected in the nutritional information per 100g/100 ml of the product, and to which favorable or unfavorable points are assigned.

Favorable points

  • Fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts, olive oil, rapeseed oil and walnut oil
  • Fiber
  • Proteins

Unfavorable points

  • Energy
  • Sugars
  • Saturated fats
  • Salt

Nutritional score can be applied at three different levels:

  • A single dish/image
  • A whole meal
  • A whole day. Includes all registered intakes.

LogMeal API can include Nutri-score, as well as other custom nutritional scores to score recognized dishes.
