Save the user’s preferred dishes and meals so they can report them in an easier and quicker way.

This functionality allows users to store their preferred dishes and meals as their favorites and re-use them as intakes in the future in an easier and quicker way.

As we are creatures of habits, we often repeat the same dishes. For example, it is common to eat the same thing for breakfast every day. In those cases, there’s a possibility of saving the dish as a “favorite meal”. That way, the user doesn’t need to take a picture of his/her breakfast every day.

Favorites image creation lets the users save for future reuse an existing image id and all confirmed dishes in the image together with their quantities.

The available LogMeal API endpoints for accessing to this service are:

• POST /favorites 🔴 Create a favorite instance for a user.
• GET /favorites 🔴 Get all favorites of a user.
• DELETE /favorites 🔴 Delete an existent favorite of a user.
• PATCH /favorites 🔴 Edits the name for an existent favorite of a user.
• POST /favorites/intake 🔴 Assign a favorite instance to user intake.
