Define personalized nutritional goals (energy, macro and micronutrients) for each user.
Service available in the following LogMeal Plans:
APIUserManagers are API user roles for healthcare professionals or other people with supervision-related responsibilities. They are allowed to create (manually or automatically), edit and delete daily nutritional goals for specific nutritional indicators.
A nutritional goal consists of two values that determine the food quantity users should ingest in their meals, a minimum and a maximum. Some nutrients only have a minimum, some a maximum, and some have both. Some examples of nutritional goals include daily recommended energy (kcal), protein (g), carbohydrates (g) and fats (g), among others. The percentages of macronutrients in your diet influence the energy substrates your body will prioritize, the regenerative capacity of your muscles, the synthesis of hormones and finally your body composition. Therefore, these percentages will change depending on the needs of each individual and the objectives he/she wants to achieve. Also, nutritional goals include daily recommended fiber (g), cholesterol (mg) and multiple micronutrients like vitamins and minerals, etc..
